Watch Me l
Note MeI like to see the beauty hidden and apparent in people, and the world we are in. I have always been drawn to the whimsical, more magical in life.I have traveled quite a bit looking for that place where I might find that road to Camelot, or Gandalf strolling down a forested trail, where we might trade ideas, or maybe just stroll to a near by village for lunch, over a glass of wine. I guess my first inspiration to pick up a paint brush came when my cousin gave me a Robert E Howard book,"Conan The Barbarian", in fourth grade. What attracted me to it was the fantastic artwork on the cover, by Frank Frazetta. From that day own it was my dream and ambition to be able to bring things to life on paper, and later canvas, like Frank could. I have been down a long road to that end, for a long time now. I have studied many artist's works, and have gained great insight from them.and their words, as well as
. the parallels of their lives and mine. The mistakes I have made, however have helped me to see things that I could not see before, in my paintings, as well as life.
I have worked with many mediums through the years, my favorites are oils and Acrylics. I have become quite skilled in Digital as well. This was a necessity in my illustration work.
I have worked with a number of authors and publishers, I have completed four pieces for WEEKLY READER, about King Arthur. I also have four artworks licensed to WARNER BROTHERS for George Clooney's newest starring feature film entitled MICHAEL CLAYTON. Also starring in the film are Tilda Swinton, Tom Wilkinson, and Sydney Pollack. Scribed and directed by Tony Gilroy, (The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, Dolores Claibourne, and Armageddon to name a few…), Michael Clayton will shoot all around Manhattan. Producers include Kerry Orent (Birth, Rescue Me,Copland) and Jennifer Fox (Syriana, Good Night and Good Luck, The Jacket) Filming is January through April. Warner Brothers will distribute the film, to be released the summer of 07. I have illustrated three novel covers for Scot R Stone, and two for Jason J. Bilicic, I have also worked with many other and fine authors. I have a number of puzzles out, published by Ceaco Inc.,and Jumbo Puzzles in Europe. I have worked on Rifts an RPG game with Palladium Books Inc, and I have illustrations in a new gaming book, for Palladium, that they will release soon. Oh yes, I can't forget to mention, I have licensed several artworks to American Greeting Inc. Also several pieces licensed to Doreen Virtue, for her Angel Tarot card sets.
